AI FILMS
‘The Figurator’ is about a Quantum Metrologist, created with RunwayML. In a near-future, a metrologist is obsessed with precision, Dr. Klem (Tommi Hattukangas) discovers the unthinkable: the oil pumps might be lying. As fruit scales falter and government surveillance weighs more than it should, Klem embarks on a journey to recalibrate reality itself. A techno-utopian satire about trust, numbers, and the fine line between madness and measurement.
‘Capitalism.exe’ is about Klaus the hamster that builds a mech suit to try to ascend. Although a clown might have other plans. An AI film by Phoebe Jaspé for Runwayml’s Gen:48 Fourth Edition. Concept developed with Nicolai Meijers inspired by Space Station 14.
Blue Sungazer (Virtual Production + AI)
A barrister, suited for court yet stranded in orbit, argues in the weightlessness of a space station — stitched together at Tvibit’s Virtual Production studio in Tromsø, where Unreal Engine and AI-crafted worlds bend reality into myth.
The music video, supported by Tvibitstigen and Tvibit’s Kreativ Teknologi, carries the voice of Jan Thomas Cornel, singing his original track Hello Stranger. It is realized by artist–filmmaker Phoebe Jaspé, with the Blue Sungazer entwined in its orbit. The text in the video is inspired by Frank Hermann, a particle physicist who's into quantum optics, his thesis 'High-Fidelity Addressing of 6Li Atoms at the Diffraction Limit'.
The idea of a blue sun is based on Neil Price and Bo Gräslund’s ‘Excavating the Fimbulwinter? Archaeology, geomythology and the climate event(s) of AD 536’, specifically when the sight of ‘a blue coloured sun… So we have had a winter without storms, spring without mildness, summer without heat’.
